A mechanical engineer and self- taught artist, Tom Johnson has always enjoyed the art of engineering design. Working with David Kimball early in his career, he worked on intricate illustrations of transmissions, cruise ships, and engines. Learning from Michael Cacy, Johnson developed his own style of unique cutaways of planes and cars. These incredibly accurate pieces show his skill of being extremely detailed and precise.
