Product Description

With zombies trending stronger than ever, this is a must-have step-by-step presentation on how to render the undead using the most cutting-edge art and airbrush techniques, including how to achieve amazing color combinations, photoreal textures, and tons more. “There are the campy, skeletal-clumsy zombies, the brightly colored, comic-book-inspired zombies, even the modern, overly-realistic, and fast-moving zombies. What this means for artists who have a thing for monster/horror imagery, like me,” explains Worthington, “is an endless flood of possibilities to draw upon for inspiration. In this DVD, I share my approach to zombies, how I select colors, and what keeps me moving forward artistically.”

  1. Zombie-riffic! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Jan 2016

Great how to instruction on the use of Wicked paints on hard surfaces. I've been wanting to move away from urethanes for hard surface projects and this was very helpful in that regard. The techniques and tips shown will work for and portrait project, living or walking dead. Gary goes in to great detail on his methods and thought processes for the construction of a great painting. The only thing I would have liked to seen would have been details on his dagger stroke drills he speaks of teaching in the Airbrush Getaways. As he says, you need to master that stroke more than any other to set your work apart. Overall I was very pleased and excited to try Wicked on my own projects.
