Anyone that collects miniature die-cast knows about Mattel’s Hot Wheels.  In 1996 Hot Wheels released the VW Drag Bus as a first edition, and became an instant collectible.  For such a small-scale casting, the VW Drag Bus has relatively large areas for painting graphics and/or artwork.

  1. Good content in a somewhat quirky interface 4 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Sep 2016

This is my second purchase of a digital edition of Airbrush Action - the first was back in 2014.

Then as now, the content is what you want from an airbrush magazine. Good stuff.
Then as now, the interface works but can be harder to use than it has to be. Its cool to have ads which link directly to their website. However, since the entire ad is the link, the slightest click anywhere on the page opens a browser which you may or may not want to do.

It would improve the reader experience if the ad had an embedded link on which you could click if you wanted to go to the ad's website.

Downloading the hard copy should be easier than it is. Right now, clicking the FAQ link related to the hard copy download gives a 404 page error.

Once you have the magazine open, the zoom feature takes getting used to. You can help make it somewhat better by going to the Settings icon to the left of the open magazine and make adjustments until you get it to behave a bit better.

Overall, what you get in content offsets the minor hassles of the quirky interface.
